Our Founder, CEO, and Friend Loretta DeLuca

It is with unprecedented sadness that we share the news that Loretta DeLuca, our CEO, passed away on April 3, 2025, after a courageous battle against cancer. We are all experiencing an immeasurable loss of a leader, friend, and keystone in the association and nonprofit community.

Loretta’s entrepreneurial spirit started immediately after graduating from The University of Maryland when she started a software development business, PC Innovators. In 1984, she co-founded Business Information Technologies, Inc., which would later become DelCor. Her contributions to our company, community, and lives have created a shared legacy we all treasure.

A truly extraordinary individual respected by all, Loretta has been honored with our community’s most prestigious awards.

Loretta’s honors and volunteer leadership on boards are manifestations of who Loretta has been to all of us. Perhaps that’s why she’s always been known as Loretta. Like a rock star with no last name needed, we all know exactly to whom someone refers when someone in this community says, “Loretta.”

Our established executive team has been working together for over 25 years and will continue to provide the stable leadership needed as DelCor continues to thrive and honor Loretta’s legacy. We will share information about services and ways in which we will honor Loretta as they develop.

With heavy hearts,

Dave Coriale
